Caledonia County is the home of a total of 9 covered bridges. Of this number, 5 are historic bridges, and 4 are non-traditional bridges.
Many of the historic bridges have been either rehabilitated or completely replaced. All of the historic covered bridges have been rebuilt, with the exceptions being the Chamberlin, Randall, and School House.
The Sanborn Covered Bridge has been removed from its location and is undergoing restoration at this time.
Some of the non-traditional bridges are difficult to find. Some are private. And then again, some appear to be historic covered bridges.
Select the map below and check the details for each bridge for complete information and locations.

For the convenience of our Bridge-Watchers, here are the Bridge-Watch checklists in two formats. As you perform the bridge inspections, you can use either an online form or a printed form. The online form will be submitted automatically, while the printed form must be mailed in. Either option is acceptable
