Lamoille County is the home of a total of 31 covered bridges. Of this number, there are 13 historic bridges and 18 non-traditional bridges.

One of the historic bridges is a total replacement of the original. A few have been rehabilitated. One has a unique truss. There is also a "haunted" bridge, as well as a former railroad covered bridge.

Some of the non-traditional bridges are difficult to find. Some are private. And then again, some appear to be historic covered bridges.
