January 20, 2025: James Crouse provides this article on the Old Red Covered Bridge from radio station WKDQ in Evansville, Indiana. This information was provided by Larry Bemis.

The Covered Spans of Yesteryear website notes that this bridge is a three-span Smith Triple truss bridge that crosses the Big Bayou Creek in Crawleyville. The bypassed bridge was built in 1875 and is 175 feet long.
