Cades Mill Covered Bridge Fundraiser

March 21, 2021: Scott Wagner has made us aware of the fundraising underway for the Cades Mill Covered Bridge.

Phase 1 of the project has been completed. But it will take another $400,000 plus to complete the project.

The Cades Mill Covered Bridge (WGN 14-23-02) is located in Veedersburg in Fountain County. The bridge was built in 1854 to cross Coal Creek. It is has a floor length of 150 feet and a roofline of 158 feet. It was built with a Howe truss.
